An Army Radio update reveals a clarification on the Israel Defense Forces’ (IDF) previous evacuation advisory for Gazans. While the warning was initially directed at residents of Gaza City, military officials now state it applies to all northern Gaza regions.

Based on the report, it’s estimated that between 300,000 to 400,000 residents from areas north of Gaza City have already heeded the advisory and relocated. However, the IDF aims to facilitate further evacuations from Gaza City.

In related news, the United Nations has confirmed that a total of 340,000 Gazans have been displaced since the onset of Israel’s campaign, which was initiated in response to Hamas’s reported massacre of over 1,300 Israelis.
