The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) has confirmed launching airstrikes targeting several Hezbollah sites in southern Lebanon. This comes as a direct response to a series of attacks by the group on the Israel-Lebanon border.
Earlier in the day, Hezbollah fired six anti-tank guided missiles at both civilian towns and military installations along the Israel-Lebanon border. This resulted in three people sustaining injuries. Additionally, two rockets and a drone were launched by Hezbollah targeting northern Israel.
In a related incident early this morning, an anti-tank guided missile attack from Lebanon injured four Israeli soldiers. The IDF, after notifying the affected families, disclosed this information. Hezbollah was quick to claim responsibility for this strike. Notably, this marks the seventh missile attack within a span of just 24 hours.
