In light of the ongoing Israel-Gaza conflict, Israel’s National Security Council (NSC) has heightened its travel warnings for Israeli citizens visiting Turkey and Morocco. The advisory is driven by concerns of potential reprisal attacks targeting Israelis in these countries.
The alert level for Turkey has been escalated to a 4, with the NSC urging all Israelis present in the nation to depart immediately. Meanwhile, for Morocco, the threat level has been upped to a 2, prompting Israeli tourists to be particularly vigilant during their stay.
This advisory follows a recent incident in which two Israeli tourists lost their lives in an attack carried out by Egyptian police last week.
