There are people who think that the new agreement to get Israel and the UAE, or the United Arab Emirates, working together would point to a relationship that could attain an excellent result to the war between Israel and Palestine. There are Israelis who hope that with the improving relations between the two states would stop further negotiations with Palestine.
The Palestinians are not showing any signs of moving, and people believe that Israel can stay the same as a Jewish and democratic state if it ignores the issue with Palestine. There are also people who are trying to attain a two-state solution and are not too keen on despairing just yet. With the agreement between the UAE and Israel, it might just signify a better relationship between the Israelis and the Palestinians.
Arab countries are in diplomatic relations with Israel has kept up appearances as supporters to any Palestinian aspirations, and with Egypt and Jordan using their peace agreements with Israel, more countries are getting into the Israeli-Palestinian diplomacy, and are taking steps into discouraging the two states from getting into more conflict.
Egypt and Israel are also working together to keep the peace between Israel and Gaza, which has been active for more than a year now. Jordan has also worked with the US to keep the discussions alive regarding diplomacy between Israel and Palestine. There was even a warning from King Abdullah II, Jordan’s current monarch, that Israel should stop annexing certain places of the West Bank, and helped to make sure it stops.
The deal between the UAE and Israel opened up doors for the UAE to promote peace between Israel and Palestine. It started with the deal itself, where the UAE prevented annexation from taking place, with the help of the US under the Trump administration.
Stopping the annexation altogether will open up more opportunities between the two states, and will be helpful in making sure that Israel and Palestine work together, and matters in keeping the peace in the West Bank for more than a decade.
More Arab nations are trying to open up communication to Israel, allowing them to influence the people than those who are opposed to the idea. It would be highly unlikely as well that preventing any agreement between the Arabs and Israel would guarantee Israel giving in to any requests.
